Refund & Cancellation Policy
Plans change. A clear process makes those changes easier for everyone.
Online learning depends on reserved teacher time as well as the learner's schedule. This policy explains the principles we use when a lesson, package or learning arrangement needs to change.
Before you book
Please make sure the selected schedule is realistic for the learner. If you are unsure about the program or level, contact us before committing to a longer learning arrangement so we can help identify a more suitable starting point.
Changing or cancelling a lesson
If a learner cannot attend, contact the academy as early as reasonably possible. The possibility of rescheduling may depend on teacher availability, the notice provided and the learning arrangement that was agreed when the lessons were booked.
Missed lessons
A missed lesson does not automatically mean that teacher time can be recovered. Where a teacher reserved the scheduled time and the learner did not attend, the treatment of that lesson may depend on the agreed booking conditions and the circumstances involved.
Academy-side changes
If a lesson cannot proceed because of an academy or teacher-side issue, we aim to communicate the change and arrange a reasonable alternative, such as rescheduling the affected lesson where appropriate.
Refund requests
Refund requests should be made directly to the academy with enough information for us to understand the relevant purchase, unused services and reason for the request. Completed lessons are normally treated differently from lessons or services that have not yet been delivered.
Unused lessons or packages
Where prepaid lessons remain unused, any refund, transfer or alternative arrangement will depend on the terms confirmed for that package, services already provided, any applicable payment costs and rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Talk to us early
If circumstances change, contact us rather than allowing a problem to continue across several lessons. We would rather understand the situation early and look for a practical solution that is fair to the learner and the teacher.
