Meet Our Teachers

Great teaching begins with the person behind the lesson.

At Rouh & Rihan Academy, we believe students remember more than what a teacher explains. They remember how that teacher made learning feel: clear, patient, respectful and possible.

Why Our Teachers Matter

We were not looking for people who could simply finish a lesson.

We wanted teachers who know when to explain again, when to slow down, when to encourage and when a student is capable of taking the next step.

Teaching Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies online requires knowledge — but knowledge alone is not enough. A teacher also needs patience, communication, awareness of different learning levels and the ability to make a student feel comfortable asking questions.

That is the teaching culture we are building at Rouh & Rihan Academy.

Native Arabic speaking online teachers
01 Arabic Is Their Mother Tongue

They do not only teach Arabic. They live the language.

Arabic is the mother tongue of our teaching team. That matters because pronunciation, expression, vocabulary and meaning are not simply academic subjects for them — they are part of everyday communication.

For non-Arabic speakers, this gives the learning experience something important: access to authentic Arabic while still receiving explanations at a level they can understand.

02 Quran Knowledge

Quran teaching needs accuracy and patience.

Our teachers are prepared to guide learners through Quran reading, correct pronunciation, Tajweed, memorization and revision according to the learner’s level.

A beginner should never feel rushed because another student is more advanced. And an experienced learner should still receive careful correction when small mistakes need attention.

The goal is not to move through pages quickly. The goal is to help the learner read with greater confidence, accuracy and consistency.

03 Islamic Education

Islamic knowledge should become understanding, not just information.

Our teachers also guide learners in Islamic Studies, including essential beliefs, worship, Seerah, Islamic manners, values and practical everyday learning.

Especially with children and young learners, the purpose is not to fill a lesson with difficult terminology. It is to explain ideas clearly enough for the student to understand why they matter.

04 Multilingual Support

Your language should not become a barrier to learning.

Our students come from different countries, cultures and language backgrounds. Our teaching team is multilingual and works to support learners in a language they can understand while gradually introducing the Arabic needed for their studies.

This is especially valuable for non-Arabic speakers learning Quran or Arabic for the first time. The student should be able to understand the explanation instead of simply copying sounds.

Wherever your family lives — in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Europe, Canada, Australia or elsewhere — the learning journey should still feel personal and accessible.

How We Want Students To Feel

Comfortable enough to ask. Confident enough to grow.

Some learners are naturally confident. Others hesitate before reading aloud. Some children need encouragement before every new step. Some adults feel embarrassed to admit that they are beginning from the basics.

We want our teachers to understand those differences. A good lesson is not simply one where the teacher spoke well. It is one where the student leaves knowing what improved and what they are ready to work on next.
