Correct mistakes while they are still small
A reading or pronunciation mistake becomes harder to change when it is repeated for weeks without anyone noticing. Immediate, calm correction helps the learner understand both the error and the better way to do it.
Correction works best when it is specific
Simply saying “wrong” is not enough. The learner needs to know what changed: a sound, a vowel, a stopping point, a Tajweed rule, a word form or the way a sentence was understood.
In a live lesson, the teacher can hear the attempt, correct one point and ask the learner to try again straight away. That short cycle of attempt, feedback and repetition is where many small improvements become stable.
